ANDERSON, SC -

Anderson Police are searching for three men who stormed into a home, threatened a teenager and stole a TV early Thursday morning.

The home invasion was reported around 5:10 a.m. at a house in the 300 block of East Orr Street.

A 13-year old boy was sitting in the living room when three men kicked in the front door and stormed into the house.

One of the men had a gun and ordered the victim to the floor, telling him to "lay on the ground or I will blow your brains out" according to the APD incident report.

The men took a TV and several items - with an estimated value of $1,300 - and left the house on foot running in the direction of Arlington Avenue.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office brought a dog team to the scene to try to track the robbers, but the animals lost the scent in the area near Dickens Avenue and Redwood Street.

The victim could only give a limited description of the home invaders to APD investigators.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864.231.STOP.
