RALEIGH, N.C. -

A Cary woman is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after she allegedly harbored a runaway and encouraged her to work as a prostitute.

Jacquelin Bann, 20, was arrested and charged Thursday with prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police say Bann aided a 15-year-old runaway from Washington, D.C., in hiding at a Super 8 motel on Hollyridge Drive in Raleigh.

While there, police say Bann encouraged the 15-year-old to engage in prostitution. Police have not released the name of the runaway.

Bann is also charged with occupying the motel for the purpose of prostitution.

Bann is being held in the Wake County Jail under a $2,000 bond.

Police also arrested Elaton Omar White, 20, and charged him with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, first-degree sex exploitation of a minor, statutory rape and crime against nature.

Police say White had indecent liberties with a minor under the age of 16. White is also accused of video taping a juvenile participating in sex and oral sex.

White's bond was set at $500,000.
