Road now open at North Hills in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A road right behind a major part of North Hills was closed for part of Thursday afternoon and some buildings are being evacuated, Raleigh Police said Thursday afternoon.

St. Albans runs right behind the part of North Hills that includes the Harris Teeter shopping center. It had re-opened by 5 p.m.

Officers from the Raleigh Police Department, Wake County EMS, the Raleigh Fire Department and crews from PSNC were on scene.
