Boiling Springs Man Killed In Greenville County Wreck

A man from Spartanburg County was killed in a wreck in Greenville County late Thursday afternoon.

Greenville County Coroner's Office investigator Kent Dill said that 20-year-old Brandon Mitchell Wall, of Boiling Springs, died after being involved in a wreck on Highway 11 at Plumley Summit Road.

According to Dill, Wall was riding motorcycles with a friend on Highway 11 when a Lexus turned off of Plumley Summit Road and in front of his motorcycle just before 5 pm. Wall's motorcycle hit the car and he was thrown from the motorcycle and then struck by another vehicle, Dill said.

Emergency responders transported Wall to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries just after 6 pm.  He was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
