GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

The J. Harley Bonds Career Center is introducing robots into the classroom.

NOA is a two-foot tall robot that sees, hears, and talks. He'll be used in classrooms that teach computer programming and networking as well as web design and animation.

The robot is programmed with curriculum for four courses: Basic Programming, Advanced Programming, Teaching with Robots, and Storytelling with Robots.

Teachers say NAO will give them an opportunity to expand their STEM and writing skills. They also hope it will add a little more excitement to learning.
