Update Sunday, August 18th, 7:25 pm:

Spartanburg Police say they've arrested a man wanted in a fight in a parking lot on Wednesday that left one man dead.

They say they responded to an area of Cleveland Park after receiving an anonymous tip.  They say they noticed a man walking on Asheville Highway trying to leave the area.  When officers saw him, they say he covered his face and disappeared.

After an extensive search, they found 43 year old Roderick Wynn inside a vacant house on Asheville Highway.

Spartanburg Public Safety says Wynn was arrested without incident around 5 pm Sunday at 694 Asheville Highway.

Wynn is currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

A fight in the parking lot of a Spartanburg business has left one person dead, according to authorities.

Officials say it happened outside the Money Tree Check Cashing on the corner of Church and Pearl Street Wednesday.

Investigators tell 7 On Your Side one man hit another in the head with an object. The victim, 56-year-old Curtis Edward Goldsmith, of Woodruff, was taken to the hospital and later died.

Authorities are currently searching for 43-year-old Roderick Jermaine Wynn.  He is described as a black male standing 5'9" tall, weighing around 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing black pants, a blue t-shirt, and a red and black ball cap.  He was also carrying a black and red backpack. Officials say he does not have a gun or knife.

The photo of Wynn was taken earlier this week.  Investigators say he has since shaved his facial hair.

Residents living in the nearby Fremont School Apartments were evacuated as swat searched the building Wednesday afternoon.  Nothing was found, according to authorities.
