A wreck involving a law enforcement officer caused a minor backup on Interstate 85 in Spartanburg County.

The wreck happened just before 6 a.m. at the 68 mile marker southbound. Details are limited but traffic was moving slowly as the wreck was moved off to the side of the interstate.

A short time later, just before 7:30 a.m., another wreck, this time at the 69 mile marker caused further traffic congestion.

There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured in either wreck.
