Anderson County Deputies Looking For Robbery Suspect

ANDERSON, SC -

Anderson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man wanted for the robbery of a business in June.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office stated that investigators are looking for Douglas Marrickus Rainey, 29, of Anderson, in connection with a armed robbery at the TitleMax at 100 West Shockley Ferry Road on June 18. Captain Garland Major of the sheriff's office, said that Rainey robbed the store with a handgun and fled.

Rainey has been charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. If anyone has any information as to Rainey's whereabouts they are asked to contact the sheriff's office at (864) 260-4400 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
