Northwestern quarterback Mason Rudolph threw five touchdown passes as the Trojans took and early lead and never trailed Gaffney en route to a 51-19 victory.

Regular Gaffney quarterback Shaq Davidson did not play due to a hand injury.

Eddie Studyvance started in his place and scored to first half touchdowns to keep the game close.

The Indians' nine-game winning streak comes to an end with the loss.
