Spartanburg Humane Society Hosting 'Pet-tacular Sale' for Labor Day

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

An Upstate shelter is offering deals on animal adoptions this holiday weekend.

Now through September 7th, the Spartanburg Humane Society is hosting its 'Pet-tacular Sale." All dog adoptions are just $15. Cat adoptions are $5.

The discounted adoption fees still covers all the normal services including:

  • spay or neuter surgery
  • heartworm test (dogs 6 months and older)
  • initial vaccination against parvo, distemper, rabies and other diseases
  • flea treatment
  • permanent microchip identification
  • one free post adoption health exam at the SHS Veterinary Clinic or some area veterinary clinics
  • one month of free pet health insurance
