Free Shred Events Held Across The Upstate

Caring for the Carolinas and Shred-a-away will be shredding any personal documents for free. 

Items that can be shred include taxes, bills, checks, pill labels and any documents.

If there is plastic or metal on the item, it must be removed before being shredded.

Locations and times are as follows:

9/3 at Bathfitter at 608 Crowne Pointe in Duncan, Noon-6:30 pm.

9/12 at Hardee's at 1213 Woodruff Road in Greenville, Noon-6:30 pm.  

9/19 at Hardee's at 1806 E. Main Street in Spartanburg, Noon-6:30 pm. 

9/24 at Hardee's at 733 N. Duncan Bypass in Union, Noon-6:30 pm. 

There are some documents you should hold on to to protect your identity, according to the Better Business Bureau.
