Greenville Police Search For Person Who Cut Man's Throat

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

A man remains in the hospital in stable condition after being cut near the throat on Rutherford Street in Greenville Sunday. 

According to Public Information Officer for the Greenville City Police, Jonathan Bragg, an altercation occurred just after 9 a.m. on Sunday between two men. As the altercation intensified in the Rutherford/Poinsett area, one of the men was cut and the suspect then fled on foot.

Greenville police are still searching for the suspect who remains on the loose.

According to a post on the Greenville Police Department Facebook page, the attacker is described as wearing a gray shirt, khakis pants, and tan hat.
