TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

The mother of a 5-month-old baby was arrested Wednesday after police say she dangled the child off a second-floor balcony.

Aisha Jean Clark, 2 is charged with child neglect.

Tampa Police found out about the alleged incident after a photo was posted on Instagram under the and someone called to report it, according to a criminal report affidavit.

The Instagram account was set to private and police did not release the photo.

When police arrived at her apartment on Nuccio Parkway and asked if she knew why they were there, Clark "laughed and brought out an iPad depicting the Instagram photo," according to the CRA.

Clark said the incident happened, "just now. I was mad and I was making a point. I can do what I want with my baby," the CRA quoted Clark as saying to the officer. "Nobody can stop me."

Tampa Police said Clark's behavior demonstrated "wanton disregard for the child which could have resulted in serious injury of the child."

The baby was put into the care of the Department of Children and Families, a DCF spokeswoman said.

Melanie and Jeffrey Cornwell should have been getting a tax break for years on part of the homestead property in Dunedin they call their "little piece of Heaven." But due to a mistake at the Pinellas Property Appraiser's Office, they won't see any rebates for previous taxes, just a break on future tax bills.
