According to a spokesman for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of shots fired on Woodleigh Drive in Taylors. When they arrived, authorities found a juvenile dead in the back yard of the home. One person is dead after a shooting in Greenville County.

According to a spokesman for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of shots fired on Woodleigh Drive in Taylors.

When they arrived, authorities found a juvenile dead in the back yard of the home.  

The victim has been identified as Trayvon K. Dodd, 15, of Boiling Road Extension in Taylors.  

Investigators say he died of a single gunshot wound.  The investigation is being treated as a homicide.

A person at home at the time of the shooting was taken to the sheriff's office for questioning, but no charges have been filed.
