GALLERY: Greenville Holds First Downtown Food Truck Rodeo

Greenville City held its first ever food truck rodeo on Augusta Street Thursday. Trucks in attendance were Fudruckers, Henry's Smokehouse, Asada and the Chocolate Moose. GREENVILLE, S.C. -

Greenville City held its first ever food truck rodeo on Augusta Street Thursday.

Trucks in attendance were Fudruckers, Henry's Smokehouse, Asada and the Chocolate Moose.

Many trucks said they were beginning to run out of their best selling foods. Some trucks said they received more than 200 customers.

Patrons waited in line in the hot sun, some for nearly an hour, but said the tasty food was worth the wait.

Truck owners said the hoped the event could happen monthly and more trucks would be willing to come out.

Some city councul members stopped by to show their support and grab some lunch.

The event began at 11 and ended at 2 p.m.
