Major Frank Stout from the Henderson County Sheriff's Office says that Francis Hunnicutt was found Tuesday morning around 8:15.  Stout says that Hunnicutt was scratched up and bruised but was doing well. The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department has issued a Silver Alert for Francis Edward Hunnicutt.  Authorities say the 72-year old is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. Major Frank Stout tells 7 On Your Side that they are using all available deputies and will bring in the North Carolina Highway Patrol helicopter to aid in the search. 

Hunnicutt is described as 5’11” and weighs 220 pounds.  He was last seen around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday from his home on Greenbriar Avenue in Flat Rock wearing blue jeans, gold shirt, and brown penny loafers.  Deputies believe he was on foot.
