PICKENS, S.C. -

Pickens County baker Francine Bryson, who fell short of winning CBS's hit show Great American Baking Competition, is putting out a cookbook.

Bryson says she signed a contract with Random House Publishers.

The book, which will be titled "Redneck, White Flour, and Blu Ribbons," is expected to be out in the spring.

The contract was signed Wednesday at Easley Smokehouse restaurant.

This summer, Bryson was one of three contestants who made it to the final episode of the nationally televised competition, but lost to opponent Brian.
