Free Car Seat Inspections in Anderson. Free Car Seat Inspections in Anderson.

The Anderson City Fire Department is teaming up with AnMed Health and Safe Kids Anderson County to offer free car seat inspections.

The initiative will begin Thursday, September 19th from 11 am to 2 pm at Fire Station 3 on 111 Simpson Road in Anderson.

Help will also be offered for parents and caregivers on how to choose the right car seats for their children and how to install them correctly.

The City of Anderson has 6 certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians between the Fire Department and Police Department.

The city says this safey initiative continues on the third Thursday of every month from 11 am to 2 pm until the end of the year.

Future dates are:

  • October 17th from 11 am-2 pm
  • November 21st from 11 am-2 pm
  • December 19th from 11 am- 2 pm
