LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. -
Officials have released the unofficial results in the Clinton Special Mayoral Election.

Laurens County officials say Mayor Pro Tem Danny Cook received 348 votes, and City Council Member Bob McLean received 363 votes in Tuesday's election for mayor in Clinton. Officials say a runoff is likely between McLean and Cook. Tracie Priestley received 101 votes. 

The election results will be certified on Friday.  

The winner will replace Randy Randall who resigned at the end of June.
