The incident happened on September 17 when an unidentified man approached a woman between the Strom Thurmond Wellness Center and Greek Village and asked for directions. When the woman began to walk away, the man grabbed her inappropriately and then ran away.

The man is described as deep tanned in his thirties with facial hair. During the course of the assault, the man was wearing a white hat.

Authorities say that the man may drive or have access to a dark colored, older model Dodge Durango.
