Greenville County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a wanted man after a traffic stop led to a crash.

Lieutenant Tim Ridgeway of the sheriff's office said that a deputy had pulled over a vehicle and approached the car. The deputy began to question the driver, 26-year-old Roland Demetrius Griffin, of Greenville, who became uncooperative.

According to Ridgeway, Griffin fled from the deputy. The deputy did not give chase, but a short time later, discovered that Roland's vehicle had crashed into Burgess Auto Service on Easley Bridge Road, near Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Roland had fled from the scene.

Roland has prior warrants on drug related charges and fleeing from police.  Roland is described as tall, slender black male wearing a yellow shirt and dark pants.
