GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

Greenville Police are once again inviting the community to "Take Back the Swamp Rabbit Trail."

A five-mile run is scheduled for Thursday, October 3rd at 6 p.m. It will begin in the parking lot of the Greenville Zoo and continue along the same route as last month's event.

Both events were organized following a series of crimes reported along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which stretches through much of Greenville County. Just in the month of September, a woman was attacked while skating, a man was robbed, two cyclists reported being shot at, and a dead body was found along West Blue Ridge Drive.
