6 Teens Arrested For Swamp Rabbit Trail Robbery, Assault

Six arrested in Swamp Rabbit Trail robbery in Greenville. Six arrested in Swamp Rabbit Trail robbery in Greenville.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Greenville Police says they have arrested six teens in connection to a robbery and assault in Falls Park in August.

They say they got a Crimestoppers tip with some names.

A person was attacked on Swamp Rabbit Trail by several people on August 2.

Investigator interviewed the teens and they were able to determine they wwere involved in the robbery.

The suspects range in age from 15 to 19. All have been charged with Strong Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery 1st Degree.

Charged are:
  • Deandre Norris
  • Dontavious Jenkins
  • Fredrick Irby
  • Jaylan Fair
  • Rodney Jones
Jaylan Fair is also charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime for a BB gun he had.

The 15 year-old's name and mugshot have not been released because he is a juvenille.

    Dozens of drivers have filed complaints with the South Carolina Department of Transportation over loose gravel along a stretch of I-85.
