Man Who Killed Wife In Greenville SC Walmart Gets 35 Years

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -

Avery Blandin will serve 35 years for the murder of his wife Lilia Blandin.Blandin killed his wife in December 2011 at the bank inside the Walmart on White Horse Road.

According to the 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office Blandin will serve 30 years on the murder charge and 5 years for use of a weapon during a violent crime. He will have to serve day for day without possibility of parole.

Police says when they arrived on murder scene witnesses said that a Blandin and his wife were yelling at each other and then the Blandin attacked her.

Witnesses said the Mr. Blandin ran away but Deputies but a couple of miles down the road he wrecked and was taken into custody.

Mrs. Blandin was working as a teller at the Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart.
