St. John and Pine Streets Near QT and the Chamber of Commerce were shutdown in Spartanburg because of a suspicious package earlier Monday.

According to Spartanburg Public Safety, a witness says a man on a moped dropped a book bag in the area. 

It appears the package was full of clothing.

The streets were shut down for about an hour and a half.
