WASHINGTON, D.C. -

NNS News Service - The National Park Service is on furlough because of the government shutdown, but one man with a lawnmower is cleaning up Washington's memorial.

South Carolinian Chris Cox is calling himself the Memorial Militia and he's been cleaning up several memorials including the Lincoln, WWII, and Korean War, Vietnam War memorials.

Cox says he is trying to get things in good shape before the Million Vet March.
