Greenville Deputy Hit By Suspected Drunk Driver

 This morning a Greenville County Deputy is recovering after he was hit by drunk driver during a traffic stop, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

A deputy was performing a traffic stop just before 10 p.m. on Easley Bridge Road near Andrews Street, when Orlando Moore, 25, hit the back of the patrol car, said Highway Patrol.

The deputy's leg was injured and was taken to the hospital, according to the sheriff's office.

Moore has been charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana.
