Greenville Co. Teen With Asperger's Reported Missing

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. -

A Greenville County teenager with Asperger’s has been reported missing, according to deputies there.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has an active missing persons investigation trying to locate Jonathan Alfred Lisi, 17, of Simpsonville.

Lisi left home on October 2 and was supposed to return on October 5. He wasn’t reported missing until October 12, according to authorities.

Officials say he may have traveled to Asheville.

Deputies remind us that Lisi is an adult and is free to leave home, and has been found in other parts of the country in the past.

Lisi is classified as an endangered runaway, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Lisi is described as having brown hair, brown eyes, standing around 5’8” tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He wears braces on his teeth and may wear glasses.
