WALHALLA, SC -

Oconee County Sheriff's investigators are seeking clues as to who may have discarded two shake-and-bake meth labs in the county.

According to a police report, a sheriff's deputy responded to Greenfield Road, near Westminster, after a man found a bottle on the side of the road that appeared to contain meth. The man described the lab as a large pepsi bottle that had a strong odor to it.

The deputy found the bottle and stated that he noticed a green and white sand-like substance inside. The deputy states that there was no tube coming from the top or no liquid substance inside, but it looked like a shake-and-bake lab used to cook meth.

Just a few miles away on Dinky Line Road, a Oconee County Roads Department motor grader operator notified a sheriff's deputy on Monday that he found a suspicious looking bottle with a tube sticking out. When the deputy arrived, he found a two liter plastic bottle with a tube coming out of the bottle cap, but the bottle was busted and no liquid was inside. The deputy disposed of the bottle.

If anyone has any information about the bottles they are asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
