“I want to take a moment and encourage you all to donate, even if you can’t walk.  It’s a short distance to travel but your effort goes a long way.  Millions live with Alzheimer’s every year and the burden it creates on the families that care for them is huge.  I lost my precious grandmother to this horrible disease and I want to be part of any and all efforts to make sure it doesn't’t happen to someone you love.  I hope you’ll join my team by clicking the link.  You don’t have to walk.  Just show up.  But most importantly, I hope you’ll give.  Click the link and pledge any amount of money.  Please do it for me.  Do it for your grandparent.  Do it for your community.  It’s so very important.  Thank you in advance.  I’ll see you all at the Town Common, Saturday November 2nd. "

A nice firm handshake has long been a mark of good manners and elevated social skills, but it's also a very germy way to greet your fellow humans.
