Driver Dies And Passenger Injured In Anderson County Motorcycle Crash

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

An Anderson County man is dead and his passenger injured after a single-vehicle wreck Saturday morning.

Daniel Allen Nash, 39, of Anderson is dead according to Anderson County Coroner, Greg Shore, after receiving trauma to the head.
 
According to troopers, Nash was heading South on Michelin Road near Warner Road when Nash’s Harley Davidson hit a curb, causing Nash to lose control. Both, Nash and his female passenger were thrown from the bike causing injuries, those of which were fatal to Nash

Shore stated that Nash died on the scene from blunt force trauma to the head and his passenger was taken to AnMed for injuries, but is expected to survive.  

According to the coroner's office, alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the accident.
