Raleigh police investigate Friday night shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh police confirmed a shooting occurred late Friday night on Joe Louis Avenue.

Police said a call reporting a shooting at 1500 Joe Louis Avenue came in just after 11 p.m.

Responding officers found one victim suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police said no suspects have been identified. The identity of the victim was not made public at this time.
