N.C. Authorities Issue Silver Alert For Missing Man From Linville

DAVIDSON, NC -

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man.

According to authorities, Joe David Havens, 84, went missing from Fawn Trail in Linville. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. He is believed to be traveling from Linville to Davidson, North Carolina along Highway 181 South to Interstate 40-East to Interstate 77 South.

Havens is a white male and is 6'3" and weighs 177 pounds. He has short white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing an olive long sleeve shirt with beige stripes and khaki pants.
