ANDERSON, SC -

Anderson County authorities are looking for a man who they say was involved in a recent burglary and grand larceny at two homes.

Anderson County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lt. Sheila Cole stated that Kenneth Ray Ward Jr., 23, of Anderson, is being sought and has been charged with second-degree burglary, grand larceny and receiving stolen goods.

According to Cole, an unknown man, believed to be Ward, stole a Toyota 4-Runner from a home on Roosevelt Drive in Anderson. The vehicle was later found abandoned and damaged on Calvert Street.

On September 30, a man, believed to be Ward, ransacked a residence on Pearman Street in Anderson and stole numerous electronic devices and other personal items. Several of the items were later found at a vacant home on Kirven Drive, which had also been burglarized.

Ward does not have a permanent address. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,200 reward for information leading to Ward's arrest.

If anyone has any information about Ward's whereabouts they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at (864) 260-4400.
