One Arrested In Anderson Skateland USA Parking Lot Shooting, Two More Suspects Wanted

ANDERSON, SC -

One man has been arrested and two others are being sought in connection with a deadly shooting in the city of Anderson early Sunday morning. Police consider them armed and dangerous.

Lieutenant Tony Tilley of the Anderson City Police Department stated that 19-year-old Christian Lopez was arrest Wednesday evening and charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, conspiracy to commit murder and three counts of attempted murder in a shooting that happened outside Skateland USA early Sunday morning. The shooting claimed the life of 24-year-old Chunsey Cunningham, who was in a car with three other people, when it crashed as they were trying to flee from the alleged shooters. 

Lopez appeared before a judge early Thursday morning. Bond was not set because of the seriousness of the crime. Lopez will appear before a 10th Circuit Court Judge on November 22.

23-year-old Roger Rowland and 17-year-old Shawn Johnson are being sought in connection with the shooting, Tilley said. Both are charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, conspiracy to commit murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Tilley said that both Johnson and Rowland are considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information as to their whereabouts they are asked to contact Anderson Area Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC.
