A sculpture stolen from an Anderson art gallery has been returned.

The sculpture, made by Greenville artist Zan Wells, was returned by the same man thought to have taken it from the Anderson Arts Center on October 7.

Kimberly Spears, executive director of the arts center says surveillance video shows, what appears to be, the same man taking and returning the statue.

Investigators think they know who the suspect is.  He's expected to turn himself in early next week.

The sculpture, valued at near $5,000, was discovered missing during an inventory audit on Tuesday.
