SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

Exel Logistics is holding a job fair Wednesday to fill 100 full-time positions at their Spartanburg County warehouse. The event runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Summit Pointe Conference and Events Center, 805 Spartan Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC 29301.

The company has the following two shifts available:

Weekend Shift schedule:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday - 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

2nd Shift schedule:
Monday through Thursday - 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Starting pay at Exel is $11 per hour plus shift premium. ($.65 – weekend shift, $.50 - 2nd shift)

The company is offering full benefits after 3 months of employment: medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD. Along with vacation time after 6 months.

Job requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and basic computer experience.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions. Close attention to detail. Ability to follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Ability to keep up with production in a conveyor environment.
  • The company says candidates must pass pre-employment tests: basic math, accuracy, and aptitude test. Along with passing a successful criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
