Greenville Co. Man Dies While Stopped On Moped

GREENVILLE, S.C. -

A man is dead after falling from his moped in Greenville County late Saturday morning.

Earle Emanul Fowler, 64, of Mauldin, was turning onto Woodruff from Verdin Road when Fowler collapsed and then fell from the vehicle according to Greenville County Coroner, Kent Dill.

The moped was reported to have been at a complete stop at the time of the fall, making Fowler’s moped the only vehicle involved.

Fowler was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he later died.

The exact cause of Fowler’s death is unknown at this time and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
