SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

Tombstones inside of a Spartanburg cemetery were found broken and on their sides Friday morning.

A Spartanburg Public Safety Officer reported that two men who routinely walk around Oakwood Cemetery, reported possible vandalism to multiple grave sites during their morning stroll. 

Upon further investigation, the officer reported a total of six fractured tombstones; including two crosses, two square tombstones and two more pillars.

Authorities are asking for your help in locating any suspects regarding the vandalism. 

Police are encouraging anyone with information to give them a call at 864-596-3437.
