GREENVILLE, S.C. -

A Greenville County man is dead Sunday after a fatal wreck.

James Daniel Rochester, 52, of Greenville died after a head on collision shortly before 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Rochester was the driver of a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck, and while “traveling north on White Horse Road, [Rochester] was struck head on by a box truck and trailer traveling south” stated Greenville County Coroner, Kent Dill.

According to reports, the collision occurred just north of the intersection of White Horse and Hunts Bridge Road.

Rochester was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner and is scheduled to undergo an autopsy Monday morning.

Rochester was wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident and the collision is currently under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
