Greenville Police were searching for a suspect on the run Sunday night, after an incident on McPrice Court.

According to the Police Department's facebook page, officers arrested Kenneth Barnett late Sunday night at a hotel on Orchard Park. Police say he faces charges of firing at a police officer, attempted murder, and other charges.

Sunday afternoon, officers responded to Hawthorn Suites for a weapons discharge and verbal dispute.

Police say an officer later saw the suspect, and the person fired at them.

Officers tracked down Barnett with K-9 units in the Haywood, Pelham, or Villa Road areas. Barnett was considered armed and dangerous.
