A homeless U.S. army veteran is beginning to turn his life around.

Jim Wolf is a veteran who has been struggling with poverty and alcoholism, and is shocked when he sees himself in a mirror following the transformation. With the help of a community event organizer, a Christian ministry and volunteer stylists, a 3-minute time-lapse, captured the complete makeover of the Grand Rapids, Mich. Veteran.

The time-lapse begins showing an unkempt Wolf sitting in a chair. Over three-hours, stylists cut his hair, trim and shave his beard and change his clothing. A tie and jacket complete the look.

Following the makeover, Wolf is overwhelmed by the site of his own reflection. He can be seen hugging production staff.According to the video, Wolf is now attending Alcoholics Anonymous and is working on securing his own housing.
