Posted: Updated:

One person has been arrested and a second person is wanted in connection with a murder on Radford Drive in Buncombe County.

Buncombe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Natalie Bailey stated that 26-year-old Christina Maria Guffey, of Candler, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery. A second person, 22-year-old Christopher Jordan Johnson, of Asheville, has been charged with armed robbery in connection with the crime.

According to Bailey, Timothy Keith Radford, 54, was found dead at his home on Radford Drive in Asheville early Wednesday night from a gunshot wound. During the course of the investigation, investigators ruled Radford's death as a homicide and identified a pair of suspects.

Guffey was taken into custody, while Johnson was brought in for an interview. He was not in custody at the time and walked out of the sheriff's office. Investigators spoke with other people and obtained warrants against Johnson.

Johnson is a white male, approximately 6'2" tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes. He is a registered sex offender from Florida and is considered dangerous.

If anyone has any information as to Johnson's whereabouts they are asked to call 911.
