Shelby Toddler Rescued From House Fire

SHELBY, N.C. -

A two-year-old boy was rescued from a Shelby house fire Wednesday night according to a report by WBTV.   The television station says Shelby Fire Chief William Hunt says firefighters responded to the fire on North Morgan Street and had the fire under control within 15 minutes.

The toddler was taken to a local hospital and then flower to a burn center in Winston-Salem for his injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
