WSSL-FM personalities Bill Ellis and Beth Bradley are holding their annual turkey fry to benefit Miracle Hill Rescue Mission Monday.

Ellis and Bradley's 7th annual Great Possible Turkey Fry was moved up a day to November 25 because of the threat of possible wintry weather.

They hope to have donations of 500 turkeys that will be fried and served during Thanksgiving meals at all Miracle Hill shelters.

The Turkey Fry is being held until 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Spartanburg mission at 189 North Forest Street.

The items needed for the event include 300 thawed turkeys, 250 gallons peanut oil, ten 30-quart turkey fryers, 40 filled propane tanks, 200 aluminum turkey pans, aluminum foil, disposable gloves, paper towels, gallon size zip lock bags, canned vegetables, pies that are ready to eat, fire extinguishers, milk crates (to hold propane), 55 gallon trash bags, outdoor extension cords and a heat lamp, carving knives, potato peelers and butterball turkey gloves.

For the first fry, Bill and Beth had a total of seven fryers to cook turkeys for those in need of a meal for Thanksgiving. There were 42 fryers at the Spartanburg location as of 10:45 a.m. Monday.

Be sure to watch 7 On Your Side Daybreak Tuesday morning when Bill and Beth visit us with the totals from their Great Possible Turkey Fry.
