SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Daniel's Jae'lon Oglesby rushed for better than 300 yards and Daniel's Christian Groomes hit a 23-yard field goal with five second remaining to give the Lions a 29-27 victory in the 3A upper state final over Chapman.

The Panthers were trying to win their fourth straight road playoff game and rallied from a 26-14 second half deficit to take a 27-26 lead with under a minute to go.  A two-point conversion try was no good.

Chapman season ends at 10-4.

In Little 2A, Chesnee built a 33-14 halftime lead against visiting Batesburg-Leesville but the Panthers owned the second half and Jaquille Chandler's quarterback sneak with less than a minute to go gave the visitors a 34-33. win.

Chesnee's season ends at 12-2.
