Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade

Description: The City of Greenville is getting ready for its traditional Poinsettia Christmas Parade. The parade has always been a town favorite in Greenville for more than 20 years and will continue to bring in a surge of holiday visitors once again Saturday, December, 7th.

The Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade
Time and Place: December 7, 2013 at 9:45 AM on Gervais Street in downtown Columbia.
Description: The 60th Annual Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade will once again proceed through the streets of downtown Columbia this year with the unique theme of “"Six Decades of Christmas Joy!" The parade is known as the state’s official holiday parade and features dozens of floats, marching bands, drill teams, and live performances.
Details: The parade will pass in front of the State House, and continue into the Vista to Park Street.

Description: The annual Greer Christmas Parade is sending all profits this year to Greer Relief and will be very cheerful as expected. The route for the parade begins at The Clock, 603 W. Poinsett St. and finishes at the J. Harley Bonds Center.

Spartanburg Toys For Tots Toy Drive
Time and Place: Reserve at Park West Clubhouse at 100 Keats Drive starting from 1 - 3 p.m.
Details: Take your picture with Santa, meet firemen, enjoy a movie, mingle with K-9 unit, jump in the bounce house, ride the train, story reading.
Mount Olive Christmas Parade
Time and Place: Sunday, December 22 at 3 p.m.
Roper Mountain Holiday Lights/Dog Nights
Time and Place: Monday, December 9 and 16 at 402 Roper Mountain Road
Details: Dog owners are invited to bring their dogs to Roper Mountain Holiday Lights on Monday, December 9, and on Monday, December 16. On those nights, visitors to Holiday Lights may bring their dogs and walk through Winter Wonderland to enjoy the lights and all the excitement of the season.
Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is open every evening from 6:00 to 10:00PM through Friday, December 30. Santa will be in Winter Wonderland through December 24, and kids can drop off their letters to Santa at the North Pole Trading Post Mail Box. On Monday, December 9, visitors may bring their own cameras to take pictures with Santa. Professionally-taken photos will also be available that night for an additional fee.
Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is a not-for-profit organization co-managed by the Rotary Club of Greenville and the Roper Mountain Science Center Association. Admission per car, minivan, or SUV is $10 on Monday through Thursday nights, and $15 on Friday through Sunday nights. The fee for an activity van is $25, and $50 for a bus. Multi-pass tickets for cars, minivans, and SUVs may be purchased at the gate for $25 and are good for three visits. Proceeds from Holiday Lights are split between Rotary Charities for local distribution, and the Roper Mountain Science Center Association for educational projects and programs. Over the past 21 years, Holiday Lights has given back over $1.9 million to the community.
