Each Christmas season, more and more families participate in Elf on the Shelf, a hide-and-seek game. Each morning kids wake up to the Elf in a different spot in the house.

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a St. Lucie County man was caught with nearly 300 stolen sea turtle eggs.The FWC says they received a tip the man was on Diamond Sands beach taking the eggs. Officers responded to discover a disturbed sea turtle nest and 55-year-old James Odel McGriff of Riviera Beach to have a total of 299 eggs in his backpack.
