2 Dead After Murder-Suicide In Buncombe Co.

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. - A married couple found dead in their home in Buncombe County, have been identified.

According to Buncombe County Public Information Officer, Natalie Bailey, Clyde Jake Cody, Jr, 65 and Hida Tipton Cody 64 died as a result of an apparent murder-suicide.

Deputies arrived at a home on New Home Road in the Leicester community shortly after 5:30 Friday evening according to Bailey, discovering two bodies with gunshot wounds.
 
The sheriff's office stated that an investigation is still underway, and details pertaining to the shooting have not yet been released.
