ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -
Deputies say a fight over a car crash led to a shooting death Wednesday night on Williamson Drive in Belton.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office has arrested Bobby Joe Arflin, 61, in connection with the death of Jody Adams Powell, 41.

Investigators say the two men were in the same neighborhood and had the dispute over the wreck involving their cars.  Investigators say Arflin allegedly drove his vehicle into Powell's unoccupied, parked vehicle.

That led to a fight where Powell was shot twice with a handgun. The coroner says Powell died at AnMed Health at 9:35 p.m.

Arflin is charged with murder, malicious injury to personal property and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He is being held at the Anderson County Detention Center without bond.
